• Rising action force

    The main character(protagonist)reacts to  the initiating event by taking steps to achieve     a goal or resolve the problem.

• hamartia(悲劇缺憾)

    Signs of conflict arise, uncovering of fatal flaw.

• Climax

    Plot twist or tuming point.

    The protagonist's "Fatal Flaw"is put into play, moving to an inevitable downfall.

    Events controlling hero, not hero controlling events.

• Falling action / tragic force

    Repercissions of the climax, mostly where the "Fatal Flaw" leads the character to a             deadly decision.

    Social chaos between characters and event in nature.

• Catastrophe

    Hero inevitably dies with note of finality.

    Regarded as second climax.

• Denouement

    Normality is restored and the conflict is resolved.
